EXTERIOR IN THE INTERIOR

I decided to look at putting exterior qualities into the interior instead of looking at one or the other. I was interested in creating wall panels for large modern spaces within homes. I used the imagery from my photo's in Prague of stains and marks on buildings and started creating similar marks with paint through scraping and dragging. It became and very expressive process as I was applying paint/ink in a very casual way not over thinking any mark. I really enjoyed this part of the project as it allowed me to work with no limitations, it was the unknown of what certain movements would make particular marks that was intriguing.
