FINAL DESIGNS AND OUTCOME

I started to think about the use of material goods and the industry in which they are made. A shop I visited in a flea market in Paris collected all of its goods from toy factories across France, they were parts of toys that nobody wanted or needed and were going to be discarded. It made me think of the value of toys and what they bring to children in comparison to the people who are making them. The toy industry in China is huge, I wanted to delve into this and learn about the treatment of workers at these toy factories in the poorer parts of China. This resulted in becoming the entire basis of my project and ultimately I designed a campaign around the on-going's of these factories and raising awareness for workers rights.

The work produced and the message put across was conveyed through a website that I designed myself through tumblr, constructing the code and layout and filming, photographing and writing everything in contained.
