Materials

As I am trying to consider two of the TED Ten points (minimizing waste and recycling/up-cycling) I am trying to make this coincide with the project theme of the shop in Paris as well. I have been thinking about factories and the waste they produce each year with unwanted components and faulty objects being sent back or discarded. This got me interested in factories around the UK and I came across a lot of silicone factories.
Silicone rubber is a flexible material so this relates as well. Here a are some initial images of silicone rubber and ideas for materials
