"THE FAMOUS CURRY BAZAAARRRRRRRR"

is where I ate lunch on my first day of research.. I had a dahl soup to start which was incredible, followed by a sweetsweet lamb korma and peshwari naan.. YUM it was amazing, few stares for sitting on my own eating a curry for one but it was more than worth it and I looked like I was having more fun on my own that the dead pan couple sat cm's away from me. Wasn't long before the waiters took an interest in my scribbling, after all it was 3 in the afternoon on a week day and there was barely any custom.

It was nice to just sit alone and take in the fragrance of the curry wafting up from the kitchen below whilst watching the street life pass by. One thing for sure is that Brick Lane is about diversity- everybody is different.
